Even Out Your Odds

In roulette there are no certain oddset bets, but if you spread your wagers wisely you can often make yourself a much more consistent profit than you think.

While the high risk gamblers will often opt to place their money on straight up bets offering a 35:1 payout, the prudent gambler will often look to the outside to make a profit. Indeed, one of the most popular and simplest ways to make money is by betting on dozens.

As the name suggests these bets cover a 12 number section of the board and payout at a rate of 2:1. Betting on a single dozen usually has a higher minimum bet than a single number wager. However, it?s usually only 5X a single bet, which means you can essentially cover 12 numbers for the price of 5.

Obviously the payout you?ll receive for winning spin will be less than if you hit a single number, however, the amount of times you?ll win per session will be greater. To further increase your chances of winning you can cover two dozens at the same time, giving you a stake in almost 66% of the board.

While you?re payout will be reduced by following this strategy, you?ll find that you?ll win as much money as a Red/Black or Odd/Even bet but, importantly, you cover a greater percentage of the board.

If you?re a professional gambler looking to make a living from roulette you need to find a way to lower your risk but maintain a stable win rate. Making double dozen bets is a great way to do this as you give yourself maximum coverage of the board whilst allowing yourself a healthy return on your investment.

Understanding that the way to survive in the gambling world is by making small consistent profits is something that all gamblers need to appreciate. Large wins are great but they don?t usually occur often enough to keep you in the game. For this reason you need to find the bets that expose you to the least risk.
